Due to the minimal usage of operation from the Pinch Valve, and because of the non-abrasive application, we expect the Pinch Valve for water based ink to last for an exceptionally long time. So far, the natural rubber sleeve inside the valves for water based ink has not needed to be replaced after 3-4 years. They should continue to last a lot longer.

Since the AKO Pinch Valves for water based ink were fitted, the rubber sleeves have not yet needed to be replaced after 3-4 years. The rubber sleeve is the only wearable part to AKO Pinch Valves, making the overall cost of ownership excellent. The user can ‘fit and forget’ the valve, while it performs until the end of its very long lifetime.
