Internal Thread Connection

AKO’s pneumatic (air operated) Pinch Valves with internal thread connection are available in sizes from DN10 to DN100.

Internally threaded Pinch Valves by AKO are compact and reliable units, consisting of only a rubber sleeve, body, and two BSP female threaded ends. The sleeve is clamped down into place by the threaded end connections. The limited parts required to form the internal thread Pinch Valve gives it an excellent total cost of ownership. No replacement seals, gaskets, rings, bolts etc are needed. The only wearable part is the rubber sleeve, which in many applications has a very long working life. This means you can install the Pinch Valve and leave it to do it’s job without fuss.

The VMC type is available in nominal diameters DN10-DN100.
The VMC type comes in either aluminium epoxy powder coated body or an electro-polished stainless steel body, a fibre-reinforced rubber pinching sleeve, and two collar caps made either from pure POM (polyoxymethalene) electically conductive POM or stainless steel.

The VMP type is available in nominal diameters DN10-DN50.
The VMP type has a three-part POM plastic body, a fibre-reinforced rubber pinching sleeve, and two plastic coupling sleeve covers. The plastic materials available are:

• White POM (food quality)
• Black POM, weather resistant
• Electrically conductive POM

The VM type is available in nominal diameters DN10 to DN50.
The VM type has a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) body, two POM internal thread end caps and a fibre-reinforced rubber pinching sleeve.

The VF type  with female thread connection is available in nominal diameters DN40 to DN100.
The VF type has an epoxy powder coated aluminium body, a fibre-reinforced rubber pinching sleeve, and two powder coated aluminium flanges with female thread.
